Image 01Computer graphics is a sub-field of Computer Science which studies methods for digitally synthesizing and manipulating visual content. Although the term often refers to the study of three-dimensional computer graphics, it also encompasses two-dimensional graphics and image processing.


Program Objective

This course provides an introduction to the field of computer generated imagery (CGI) and  3D computer animation techniques, and their application in visual effects generation for television and cinema. Both theoretical and practical aspects of the movie and TV making process are taught in class, such that students gain hands-on understanding where computer generated imagery fits in to the workflow of a production.
